New year...new ideas

It's been a long break from painting from me but I'm coming back with a new perspective on painting and I think it shows...

I with many view finecast in a very negative light but while working on this I have come to realise it has a lot of positives over lead. The key is the sculpt has to be pretty darn spot on....in this case it was. But I digress....

Here is a sneak peek at my current project....still a lot to do but it's close

Take it easy and keep the paint flying :oD

GDUK12 Unpacked..@last

I know its been well over a month since uk demons, but I've only just unpacked
my bag of goodies and demon winning entry. In the mean time I've not been idle
trying to finish off postponed miniatures and starting few new ones.
Firstly and at last, photo's of Gold winning duel..

Overall picture above;
Details picture below;

Had lots of fun building these guys up.Creating the narrative and individual characteristics
Chopped and changed lots of arms,legs,heads etc to get the pose right.
Wanted to show gritty struggle, a fight to the death which in that moment could go either
way,for good or evil...

 More soon, Bigger pictures and post on cmon
         cheers    ijee.Dave.

UK Golden demon pictures.

Another Demons is all over and I've got to say was very enjoyable,
Met lots of really nice folk (Hi to you all!!) Saw some fabulous mini's
Spent way to much money, Got inspired...... and was lucky to come
home with Gold in duel..
There was notable shift in style throughout the whole competition.
No lack of quality paint work but not so much unbound go nuts
creativity!!
I took pictures of whatever caught my eye and as many winners as
possible. Enjoy.
